Look what happened now...
Ready, Set, Jet!

Mine was productive (which means not FUN at all.) We made another attempt at clearing the downed tree in my back yard. This was a HUGE Pecan tree that just fell over one day. There wasn't any wind and it doesn't look dead. WTF? AND It took out my koi pond and the trampoline. But it could have taken out the upstairs of my house it was that BIG! So I'm lucky, I guess?? My gardner has been working on it for over a month. But between bad weather and the wood being so hard he has been replacing chains on the chain saw nonstop and its just been one thing after another. Now the winter grass is really growing & it all needs to be mowed too. UGG BIG MESS! He is having a hard time finding anyone to work with him or to help as well. (Most men are working in the oil field now.) I help some if I'm not working too, but our schedules rarely mesh and I don't like him attempt it alone. About 2 weeks ago I was at the office and called me to tell me he FELL WHILE CUTTING a limb and asked if he could quit for the rest of the week! OMG! Thank goodness he wasn't hurt! We did get MOST of it done and the yard is mowed and edged. I would like to start on the flowerbeds, but its still too early and we are both worn out. #HappySaturday I had a date but called him and cancelled, I was just too tired. #FML He said he understood, but I don't know. Oh well, he should just be lucky I didn't ask him to help with the damn tree. So anyway, I stayed home the rest of Saturday and managed/made myself pack some more. I made a dent in it anyway. Its coming to the part where I have to really start living out of a suitcase because everything is packed, WTF?! You know, the "what do you really need day-to-day?" Part and the "why do I have so much extra crap?" stage. I went through quit a few emotions, from sad to excited as I packed my crap up. I figured I could use the break after Saturday. From there we went to the state park to Hike/run the trails. But after about 5 minutes it started to rain and the temp began to drop. I can run in the rain or in the cold, but just not BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. Plus I wasn't dressed for it. I didn't think the front was due in till night time. The Temp continued to drop and I went home to build a fire. All motivation for work gone. So that actually was a great end to the weekend. #WIN
Except now I can't sleep. #Fail See you at the airport- Comments are closed.
