It's amazing what a handful of Chia Seeds or Hemp in a smoothly can do for you! When I start dragging I cook black beans, what we don't eat that night I put in the food processor for bean tacos the next day.
Also Almonds are always a great snack to keep on hand. Buy the best organic you can find. And make sure you purchase, raw and unsalted/sugared.
Some of these items are bit expensive but so worth it. It's important to not skimp on food. It's the fuel to keeping you healthily and happy. Not getting enough protein can really change your mood.
