Look what happened now...
Ready, Set, Jet!
So what's the first thing I did when I returned from my 10 day road trip? Go to the market for fresh fruit of course! I have someone taking care of the animals and yard while I'm away, (thank goodness) and those are two huge issues I don't have to stress over. I really couldn't do it without them. The key to seamless, worry free traveling is planning ahead and surrounding yourself with great helpers!
So after dropping off the rental car, picking up the large pile of mail and lavishing love on said animals; I headed off to graze, err I mean shop. I am still amazed at all the selection in New Mexico. So many cool shops, cafes and restaurants. When did this happen? I remember a time when most of New Mexico was bleak, no shopping, no cafes and no cool places to relax. Hmmm.....
What do you do after you return from a trip?
I usually unpack, hit the laundry and start thinking about the next trip, lol. (#TrueStory)
But for now I will wander off to the produce stand, the super market and farmers market. The laundry can wait till later in the week.
Luckily one of the hotels had a laundry service so we did not have to bring back a car load of dirty clothes. #Score!
Here is what I bought:
Note: I resisted the urge to buy plants, even though I so needed them.
And I also bought my weight in Walnuts! LOL Not really..but they are currently my favorite nut. I eat them all the time, plus fake bake my raw vegan goodies with them.
Speaking of..its time to fake bake. I've been craving Raw Vegan Carrot Cake and now that I have the ingredients I have no excuse but to get my raw on!
Catch you later-
