Hi!
How are you? In today's video I wanted to share some vegan finds, talk about sneaky food ingredients and just chat. Have a lovely week! Hey there, How are things? I hope you are enjoying the last few days of July. Today I'd like to share a tranquil slice of life from our coastal paradise – In the latest vlog installment, I went to the pier to watch the sunrise. Well, that was my plan...I was late because of "things", but I did arrive by 8:00 and I was rewarded with seeing the fish feeding, a couple of cute crabs, and a jellyfish. I recorded my adventure here: There was a lot of wind, so this a relaxing instrumental video. But, weather aside, life on the beach is truly remarkable, and I'm on a mission to share its wonders with the world. If you haven't subscribed to the new daily, blog I urge you to now. Just click the button on the video (Its free!) and then the bell so that you will be notified as every new video drops. The daily vlog is a testament to the extraordinary moments that unfold right at our doorstep. From breathtaking sunrises to captivating marine life, I hope to inspire you to find joy in the simplicity of nature.
Thank you for being a part of our community, and I can't wait to share more fun experiences with you. Speak soon! Living for so long in the desert, I rejoice now every time it rains. Today, I had the pleasure of capturing the enchanting dance of periwinkles and other blossoms as they rejoiced in a gentle summer shower. The rain drops delicately trickled down the petals, intensifying the colors in a magical alchemy. Vibrant reds, brilliant yellows, and cheerful pinks burst forth, transforming the world into a vibrant tapestry of hues. I was transfixed as the flowers, grateful for the rain's touch, gleamed with a renewed radiance as if they were whispering their gratitude to the sky. As I watched the gentle showers, the plants perked up and I witness the transformation of blooms into vibrant works of art. The rain's touch awakens a kaleidoscope of colors, adorning petals with shimmering droplets that sparkle like jewels. In this magical union, rain and flowers remind me of the inherent beauty in an often harsh world, and the delicate balance that sustains life. The next time the rain falls I invite you to step outside and witness the magical union between raindrops and flowers, for it is in these moments that nature's true magic unfolds.
Speak soon ~ It's July! The summer is truly here, full of possibilities and never-ending heat. I gladly say goodbye to June, as I'm more than ready to move forward now. No more dragging my feet, feeling unsure about the future and the correct path forward. There are endless possibilities this month; from lazy beach days to gathering with old friends for fun-filled backyard parties. Let's dive into the charm of July and all the exciting experiences it brings. Sunny Adventures: July brings with it sun-drenched days that beckon us outside. Whether you're seeking sandy beaches or the tranquil beauty of lush forests, this month offers endless opportunities for adventure. Dive into the water, hike scenic trails, or simply relax under the shade of a tree with a good book. Let July be your passport to nature's wonders, and let the sunshine heal your soul. Let's eat all the summer vegetables! July is a paradise for food lovers, offering an abundance of fresh produce and delectable treats. Succulent berries, juicy watermelons, and crisp vegetables fill the farmers' markets, inviting us to savor the flavors of the season. Grab your apron, fire up the grill, and experiment with new recipes. From cooling salads to frozen delights, July is the perfect time to indulge in fresh food adventures. Time seems to slow down in July. With the excitement and busyness of the summer, I also seem to slow down more. Sounds like a paradox, but as my birthday approach I always become more reflective. What about you? How do you approach July? I'm more likely to linger on the deck or take longer after dinner walks. I also journal more, study more and spend more time just thinking over the past. For me, July is a great time to find a peaceful spot to meditate, journal, read or engage in activities that bring joy and tranquility. Yes, it's hot as Hades outside, but somehow we can make this work. I'm committing to being more flexible now and slowing down on work projects as well. No more trying to do everything at once. I want to enjoy the sun, the fresh food and work on my self-awareness. What are your big plans for July? Do you feel reflective or are you ready for summer to just be over? Let me know in the comment section.
I hope we can make July a time of self-discovery, rejuvenation, and growth. Let's embrace this July and make the most of the summer. Stay tuned for a backlog of adventure posts, new cooking/recipes and much more. Speak soon~ Hi, How are things? I'm busy doing the pre-packing and gathering up for the upcoming trips. This isn't exactly my favorite part of the travel experience, but it's probably the most necessary. My itinerary is not set yet but I have a good outline of where, what and when. I'm still researching (I will share some of my findings soon) and gathering items for the trip. I know I will be at the beach, then off to Austin, Texas for work (yeah) and then on to Florida for a much needed Vacation (with a capital V). So I'm thinking casual summer stuff --- plus work stuff, plus filming equipment for the Youtube channel, plus where I want to eat, who I want to visit and what I want to experience. Disney? Naw. Been there, done that with the kids. I would rather go to a nature reserve that supports wildlife. That's the fun part of the pre-trip part, researching what to see. The not so exciting part is the "gathering stage" of gathering that special vegan shampoo, toothpaste, plane snacks, etc. Plus knowing I'm going from one place to the next without a trip home makes the need to "gather" extra vitamins, toiletries, favorite snacks, etc. necessary. I've ordered extra vitamins and supplements already. Pictured "my can't be without supplements" you can find them via the link: Dream Sleep https://amzn.to/41NZbym Vegan Collagen https://amzn.to/3ISUnza Ashwagandha https://amzn.to/3J0F4o7 (Amazon informed me I have bought 22 times! This is my favorite brand hands down.) I also picked up another set of iPods. So who else overpaid for their AirPods and then lost one? 🥹 #Yikes I'm glad I found these on sale. https://amzn.to/3Jqf1s3
I have more to do, but I'm chipping away on my list day-by-day. It's been my experience the more prepared you are for your trips the more fun you have. I mean we can't prepare for every thing, but we can insure we don't run out of supplements and spend quality vacation time hunting them down. This is especially true when you are in a different country. I want to have fun and relax, not stress over vitamins, lol Speaking of stress-free...I'm gather a list of Vegan places to try in London and will soon be sharing my findings here.
