Hey there,
Have you ever had trouble finding the perfect dairy alternative for your coffee or tea? I know I have! For the longest time, I was convinced that oat milk just wasn't for me. But recently, I discovered a game-changing oat milk that I can't get enough of! As a coffee creamer, I much preferred cashew milk over oat milk. But then I tried Califia Farms' extra creamy oat milk at a friend's house and I was blown away! It was smooth, creamy, and added the perfect touch to my tea. I had to admit, I was wrong about oat milk all along! Now I'm hooked on this extra creamy oat milk and I buy it weekly. It's a great option for those looking for a healthy dairy alternative that still provides the creaminess and richness of traditional milk. Plus, it's packed with essential nutrients like calcium and vitamin D. I was going to call this post "My Oatmilk Journey," but that seemed a bit dramatic. Still, I wanted to share my newfound love for this delicious oat milk with you. Trust me, if you're looking for a creamy and delicious dairy alternative, this one is definitely worth trying. So go ahead, give Califia Farms' extra creamy oat milk a try and let me know what you think! Have a great day! #OatMilk #CalifiaFarms #Extra PS: NOT sponsored As travel becomes more accessible and affordable, more people are exploring different parts of the world, seeking new experiences and adventures. However, as much as travel can be exciting and fulfilling, it also has the potential to have negative impacts on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage. Ethical and sustainable travel is an approach that seeks to minimize these negative impacts while maximizing the benefits of travel for both the traveler and the host community. In this blog post, we will explore the concept of ethical and sustainable travel and how it can help people and enrich their lives Ethical and sustainable travel is an approach that is grounded in the principles of responsible and conscious travel. It seeks to minimize the negative impacts of tourism on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage, while maximizing the benefits of travel for both the traveler and the host community. Ethical travel is not just about being environmentally responsible, but also about respecting the culture, traditions, and beliefs of the local people. One of the benefits of ethical and sustainable travel is that it allows travelers to have a more meaningful and authentic experience. Rather than simply being a passive observer of the local culture, travelers are encouraged to engage with the local community, learn about their traditions and way of life, and contribute to their economy. This can be done through activities such as volunteering, homestays, and local tours. By doing so, travelers gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the local culture, and the locals benefit from increased economic opportunities and cultural exchange. Over the next few months I will be talking more about this concept and sharing how this philosophy has made my trips much more meaningful.
Speak soon~ Hi, How are things? I'm busy doing the pre-packing and gathering up for the upcoming trips. This isn't exactly my favorite part of the travel experience, but it's probably the most necessary. My itinerary is not set yet but I have a good outline of where, what and when. I'm still researching (I will share some of my findings soon) and gathering items for the trip. I know I will be at the beach, then off to Austin, Texas for work (yeah) and then on to Florida for a much needed Vacation (with a capital V). So I'm thinking casual summer stuff --- plus work stuff, plus filming equipment for the Youtube channel, plus where I want to eat, who I want to visit and what I want to experience. Disney? Naw. Been there, done that with the kids. I would rather go to a nature reserve that supports wildlife. That's the fun part of the pre-trip part, researching what to see. The not so exciting part is the "gathering stage" of gathering that special vegan shampoo, toothpaste, plane snacks, etc. Plus knowing I'm going from one place to the next without a trip home makes the need to "gather" extra vitamins, toiletries, favorite snacks, etc. necessary. I've ordered extra vitamins and supplements already. Pictured "my can't be without supplements" you can find them via the link: Dream Sleep https://amzn.to/41NZbym Vegan Collagen https://amzn.to/3ISUnza Ashwagandha https://amzn.to/3J0F4o7 (Amazon informed me I have bought 22 times! This is my favorite brand hands down.) I also picked up another set of iPods. So who else overpaid for their AirPods and then lost one? 🥹 #Yikes I'm glad I found these on sale. https://amzn.to/3Jqf1s3
I have more to do, but I'm chipping away on my list day-by-day. It's been my experience the more prepared you are for your trips the more fun you have. I mean we can't prepare for every thing, but we can insure we don't run out of supplements and spend quality vacation time hunting them down. This is especially true when you are in a different country. I want to have fun and relax, not stress over vitamins, lol Speaking of stress-free...I'm gather a list of Vegan places to try in London and will soon be sharing my findings here. How is that even possible?? It seems like only last year I took the plunge and leaped out there and bought this domain. Looking back, I've blogged about my adventures traveling in the USA, Europe, Iceland, Canada, Mexico and South America. I've written about trips planned, delayed and failed, as well as amazing adventures that were life changing. I've shared my cruises to the Caribbean, Europe and the Transatlantic journeys. I documented my switch from Vegetarian to Vegan, shared recipes, created book reviews and wrote about my day to day life. I've moved from Texas to the south of France, London, the Lake District and back to the USA and you have been with me. This blog has opened so many doors for me. I have written several best selling books that wouldn't have happened if I wasn't pushing myself to write here. It's also helped me to try new things, and be open to new experiences. I've gotten serious about Youtube and started sharing way more of everyday life. My world has grown as I've meet new people from all walks of life and become much more of a global citizen. Thank you so much for reading my posts, sharing your own stories and connecting with me. Your feedback, suggestions and insights have helped me so much. Your friendships mean the world to me and I treasure you. In the next part of this 10 year celebration I'm going to share some stats with you and take a trip down memory lane. (Reading the old posts used to make me cringe now I am just nostalgic!)
I can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring! Spend a calm day with me as I unpack, unbox a vegan chocolate box and just relax.
Have a great weekend my friends! Happy Weekend! I hope your doing well and enjoying autumn? I'm traveling today. (Oh how good it feels to be able to write that again!) The weather turned off colder so I went south (again) this time to a new spot... If you missed it, I took a nice 10 day trip last month and uploaded several videos of our stay here and here plus lots of short! So if you don't follow my Youtube channel head over here. We stayed in a lovely holiday cottage and had a very nice time. I'm also working on uploading all the food /recipes from that stay --so stay tuned for those. I promise to write more once we are settled in.
Have a great weekend! |
