They say, "Laughter is the best medicine", you know? I should be healthy as the proverbial horse then! I am constantly surrounded by clowns. IDK.. My lovely almost local Texas friends noticed I was still up late Saturday/early Sunday morning (Damn that GetGlue app) and decided to stop by after they closed down the clubs… #partyOn Yo!
So party animal that I am (so sad) I end up baking chocolate ship cookies for everyone. (I guess they were not that drunk after all, WTF??) We stayed up too late, eating, visiting and generally having a lot of laughs. :D Thank goodness I don't have any neighbors close!
I was reading about laughter and stress today. The suggestion was that you laugh as much as a four-year-old. That average four-year-old laughs 300 times a day - wow🎉😳 Meanwhile the average 40-year-old only laughs about three times a day! What the hell? Is that all? Is life so depressing by the time your 40 that you cannot find anything to laugh at???

Rick decided to take a picture of the cookies baking in the oven using my weather app. WTF? Breaking weather news.... #Moron
After I wrestle (yes, he likes to wrestle) the phone away from him I am just able to take one semi decent picture of cookies before they are all eaten. I had one, BTW and then returned to grapes, the others wanted their grapes in the more liquid form..lol
The studies say laughter reduces levels of stress hormones, soothes tension & improve your immune system. Not to mention just makes you feel better in general. Read a short article here from the Mayo clinic, if you want to know more. I know I'm lucky to be surrounded by such good friends that make me laugh and help keep me (in)sane. :D
