Good morning and happy Friday!
Hope you are well as we head towards Spring! I'm still going through the pictures from our recent cruise. (So many photos!) I also have a lot of video I need to upload too. Do you follow us on YouTube? youtu.be/2sMBI2bRY3U?si=XLYmZv-z6xINrcAo The food was of course, great on the ship. My son reported this desert was one of his favourites. Plus, enjoying on it from our balcony made it all the sweeter. #WIN Have a great weekend! During today's walk, I was delighted to see spring emerging in the vibrant blooms of yellow narcissus flowers! These cheerful bursts of color are a heartwarming sign that spring is just around the corner here in the South of England. It's truly a joy to witness nature awakening after a long winter slumber. How about your corner of the world? What does the weather look like? Share your own glimpses of the changing seasons in the comments section and let's all enjoy the beauty of nature.
See you soon~ Thursday I went for a full moon walk around a small village in the South of England. Despite the chill in the air, there was something so magical about strolling under the full moon's glow, surrounded by nature and thatched buildings from another era. It's amazing how the cold increased the beauty and stillness of the night. It was just above freezing, but even that couldn't dampen the joy of being outside and experiencing the magic of the night. (I'm still happy dancing in the kitchen at finally being back in the UK!)
I hope you have a magical weekend~ Greetings from England~
Today, for Foto Friday, I'm excited to share a snapshot of a modern English kitchen. Cooking in different kitchens can be a challenge, but this one was a breeze! They say the kitchen is the heart of the house, and I couldn't agree more. It's where memories are made and flavors come alive. Wishing you all a fantastic weekend ahead! Good morning! I hope you're doing well as we approach the first weekend of February. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being in the south of England and I captured this photos of the dramatic sunset. The vivid colors reminded me of this beautiful quote: "Sunsets are proof that no matter what happens, every day can end beautifully." - Kristen Butler. I noticed the sunset while I was busy working upstairs. In a rush, I hurriedly made my way downstairs and outside to get a better view, only to find my sight partially obstructed. It re-enforced the lesson that sometimes, we need to be in the right place to fully appreciate the beauty surrounding us. It's also a reminder to slow down and savor life's moments.

Can you believe this month is almost over? Where did the time go? While we were in Southampton, another massive cruise ship pulled in. It was a P & O ship, I believe, just making a stopover in Southampton/London. According to Google: P&O Cruises is a British cruise line headquartered at Carnival House in Southampton, England. I really don't know much about them, but this ship was enormous! Recently, a reader asked me if I would cruise again (after just making the transatlantic trip), and of course, I said Yes! How about you? Do you enjoy cruising? If not, what are your reasons? Leave a comment~ Cruising a lot different than I expected. I'm glad we have the opportunity to travel this way. Now I must get some work done. Have a great weekend! Speak soon~ Good morning and happy Friday, friends!
It's time for Foto Friday, I couldn't resist sharing this morning's beautiful sunrise. Today: Jan 19, 2024, temperatures are around 11°C (52°F) here in the Atlantic. We have showers off and on, but no storm predicted. #Smoothsailing With approximately 625 nautical miles left to reach Southampton, everyone seems sad for the trip to end. But our journey is just beginning! I have so much planned - I can't wait to share Europe with you~ But in the meantime we are going to enjoy the rest of the cruise. Stay tuned for more updates!
