Angelica's Birthday Party part 2

HI HI! 
How is your week going? Overdosed on tinsel and nog yet? Yep, I'm right behind you.  These last few months have been straight (to the hips!) parties and events.  I have sworn off cake, pie, candy and the nog till New Years Eve or at least for breakfast.

Earlier in December the girls and I went out to celebrate Angelica's birthday. She is yet another of my many Sagittarius friends.  Meaning she knows how to party. She also was on last weeks New Orleans adventure. As we headed home I asked her what she planned on next? She recommended a 5 day raw grass and tree bark cleanse after the of 'Nawlins Debauchery. (Hey, I wasn't the one eating alligator in dive bars, but ok.)

Vanessa and I carpooled while LS and Angelica went to the wrong place. LOL #GreatStart

I actually 1/2 assed blogged about ONE of her birthday dinners/lunches/adventures already. My camera refused to cooperate and the entry was sans my usual blurry pictures, so after fixing the problem, (Uploading. not blurry) here please to enjoy a rather crappy dinner but with great company.

We drove over to Carinos's where I eat all the time. Boring I know..

And then when they didn't show up we waited and waited. I started texting and finally figured out they were in THE WRONG TOWN! OMG! So then we waited and waited for them to arrive.  #TOOFUNNY

Making lunch turn into an almost "all day" affair!

My salad was Meh-

My pasta was dried up and bad.

LS ordered the Lobster pasta and said it was quite good they all tried (not me!) and agreed it was good.

There was hardly anyone there and this is the worst food I have EVER gotten. #FAIL

This was the cake Angelica ordered. She did not ask for ice cream...or know it would be so HUGE! :o

I didn't try any. She said it was good and took some home for her mom. #SweetGirl

We had a nice visit even though the food wasn't all that. Angelica and LS headed back to San Marcos and Vanessa and I headed to the shops. Why waste an opportunity?

There weren't too many people about considering how close it is to Christmas.

Just an average day, except they went to wrong town...LOL This will probably be the last time we will see LS as she is moving across Texas. She promised to come back for visits, but it is still a sad event. 

In trying to plan a party for her going away nothing worked out. She was here while we were in New Orleans and when we returned she was in California for a week, then its New Years and krewe is all tied up. A few friends  are going to be NYC to see the ball drop, while others have family events, so WTF?!? Come back to visit in Feb. for your "going away party"?!
