Another Sunny Sunday

So I was having coffee outside in the back garden this morning....
Totally minding my own business, when I look up and see a hot air balloon in the distance.
Cool, right? Let me take some photos -

I will surmise it below if you missed it.

My day to sleep in, fail miserably.

But back to the balloon - it was really far away...

BTW: I didn't edit these pictures, the sky is really THAT blue here.

It's coming my way and getting closer.

Then it came closer and closer...

And closer still.....

And then -

It landed across the street in my neighbors back garden! (See the moon in the photo?)

OMG!

No one was hurt...they had their "spotter" is that what it is called? Close by and were packed up and driving away in no time! Although it did make for an interesting morning adventure.  I think my neighbors were at church so they missed it!  
And it's amazing how HUGE the balloons are up close. I've never been that close to one.

New Mexico is famous for the International Balloon Fiesta (read about it here.) It's in October and if I am here and not traveling I shall attend. But who knows if I shall be, but who knows where I will be next week for that matter. And who knows what will fly over  tomorrow, lol.

The other exciting news today was "Fireworks Oreo's"  
My son had bought some cookies and asked me if I knew about them? "Err are they red, white and blue for 4th of July?" Was my total uneducated guess-
But nope, they are made with Pop Rocks in the frosting! #OMG (Who would have guessed that?)
They are popping fun!
