Average August Day

Hello and Happy August!
How is your summer going? I hope you are having fun!
I'm busy with work and exploring some. I admit to being online too much and not out with the trees as much as I should. (Yes, they have trees here in New Mexico!)

I went to explore the village a bit and picked up some fresh veggies, these are a few of the random pictures I took. Most of the pictures now go directly to #Snapchat and are of course gone now.

What do you think of Instagram new feature?I don't think it will replace Snapchat....but who knows.

I confess to "over sharing" on #Snapchat.

To all my friends that swore I would hate it here..because it never rains! #GuessAgain!

Or that nothing grows here.

Okay, enough of that...Let's get on the road!

I really need to clean my windscreen...those aren't UFO's

I love being surrounded by the mountains!

And there are parks, entrance ways and random bits that have metal work and sculpture scattered about.

I now live close to an ancient Native City...(not reservation). That is still inhabited.

I took a few pictures inside the store and the other shops, but sadly they were all on snapchat.

Please enjoy looking at the JC candles and incense collections from the supermarket.
I am surprised at how much shopping there is in my tiny village! Big Lowe's, Home Depot, lots of small family owned shops, and a decent sized library. But sadly the 2 supermarkets are very expensive and have only a small section of organic produce and products. #Fail

Thrive and Amazon are much cheaper..or I can drive on to ABQ.

And so I'm off to find more organic produce.
