Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! 
Hope you had a lovely day. I cooked for my mother and had a nice visit. Plus there were about a million things going on this weekend. Including running errands, shopping, having company over and oh yeas, working. 

Seems like I have spent most of the last few days on the road. See?

Rockin down the highway....When going this direction there are less hills and the sky seems HUGE. There is such a vastness out here, although even this area is building up. It use to only be farm land, but not so much anymore. #MyView

The weather has been wonderful, mostly.

And oh yeah, I'm still in south Texas.

And speaking of Texas... I bought this "Texas sized"  Mascara and liner to try. Will let you know how it did after I have tried it a bit.
It  has been such a busy ass weekend. I did manage to fit in  a nice lunch Saturday at Subway.

It was FAB, but I could not eat even half of it.

Sunday morning was taco time. #Score!

While out running around I found the lantana and cactus blooming. They are both native plants so they bloom when everything else is dried up.  

I was so surprised to see cactus in the south France. It did make me a tad home sick.

Now I'm off to call a repair man. One of my office windows was mysteriously broken over the weekend. It looks like maybe a bird flew into it? I don't know. No one was hurt and you cannot get inside the office yet, the window is just cracked. But it was pretty odd and the glass will fall out anytime.  #AlwaysSomething
