Travel Throw Back Summer in London

*Warning* this is a picture heavy post. 
These are  pictures from a week we spent in London a few summers ago. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

This trip we were staying in the heart of London in a lovely Gite. This area is pricey, but so worth it.
Just a short stroll to the parks and cafes.

Most of these were taken with my cheap canon.

 We were in Hyde Park and Regents Park just messing around, enjoying being outside. But it was threatening rain and then came down in sheets. :o  
Once it began to rain we headed to the museums, for culture and dryness.

Inside the Natural History museum. I didn't that many photos as I've been there like 12 times, but its one of my Favorite places.

I think this was a weekend because I have NEVER seen so many people there at once?!

And then we went for supper. 
Another day and we are back in the park.

So I left Regents Park and went for another walk about.

And then lunch and short cut back thru the park to our holiday apartment.

I love the wildness in the middle of the city.

This was on a porch along the way. It reminded me so much of Italy.

 The week just flew by! Before I knew it, it was time to pack up to return to France. 

And off to the next adventure!

I cannot wait to return to London. As a cabby told me once almost ALL Americans like London. 
With the exception of my friends from New Orleans, they do not like London. They avoid it when ever possible and cuss when it is mentioned, lol.  When your older dear reader I'll tell you that story.
