Ready, Set, Jet!
Lately I have been all about having a big bowl of Vegan Nice Cream for breakfast - I used to run out the door with a (still healthy) smoothie in hand. But lately I have decided to take the stress out of my day by NOT accepting any phone calls or reading any texts before I get out of bed. I meditate, go for a walk and have a big bowl of Vegan love! It's amazing how much better the day goes. Yes, I have to get up a bit earlier, but it is so worth it. My body feels good, I feel mentally refreshed and ready to have a productive and exciting day.
If you are living under a rock and don't know how to create this lovely, raw and delicious bowl of love -
Here is the basic recipe:
HEALTHY BANANA NICE CREAM RECIPE
Use 4-5 ripe bananas per person, chopped and frozen
1 tablespoon of almond milk per banana (or water)
Pulse frozen bananas and unsweetened almond milk in a food processor/blender until it’s the consistency of ice cream.
Top with your favorite healthy topping and serve immediately.
YUMMY TOPPING IDEAS:
What I used for the bowl above:
5 frozen bananas
1 Tablespoon of organic peanut butter (Added in the blender)
1 Tablespoon of Organic Cacao (Also added in the blender)
handful of walnuts
Handful of coconut
