So it's another random day, random post. I have about 1,000 travel blog post I need to write up and edit photos for, but instead let's just sees whats lurking around on my iphone, okay? These pretty flowers are morning glories. Many people consider them weeds, but I like them. (I admit to loving most all flowers.)
Okay, I will now go to work editing some of the travel pictures, plus I have a review and a shopping haul to post. Speaking of shopping, I am having so much fun shopping for the new house! I will post up a tour if I ever get finished buying drapes. I just thought I had a lot of windows in my old house, but this place! OMG! So many windows! Catch you later~ Over the course of the last few weeks I have been out taking photographs of the Texas wildflowers and the 'planted flowers' too, lol. Plus I've been ever so busy over working, I've hardly had any time for sneaking off with my friends. We are planning a few cool trips and also I have 2 BIG adventures coming up! But in the meantime - please enjoy some flowers pictures. :D I also have been about shopping for bedding plants and new pots. I love spring and all the flowers! Don't you? All of these pictures were taken in Texas. Well except for the one listed below--my mate in England sent. Soon it will be too hot here for any flowers, so we are enjoying them while we can. The sky always is the most amazing color here. I'm sure the UV (feel the sizzle) plays a big part in it. Then suddenly it's cool again! We really thought the colder weather was over, but I guess not. :x And as the weather changes so does the wildlife! I have seen so many squirrels rabbits, deer and of course lizards while I've been out running. Most are gone long before I can get the phone ready to snap. Also many butterflies and hummingbirds have returned. I take their return as a sure sign Spring is here! If you follow me on Snapchat then you see mostly blurry video for deer running off, lol. Remember the pretty peach blossoms from last month? They turned into the cutest baby peaches~ And now the roses are blooming all over town, too. See you at the airport-
Hello and welcome new people ~ Every month I list the top clicked posts, they are not usually the best stories, but for some unknown reason they are the most visited. Excited yet? lol March was an odd month for me, I travelled a bit, but also put my head down and worked. There are so many new projects at the office, plus I'm in the process of moving house, which is a HUGE ordeal and there was family drama as well. But all that aside, here is the list for March 2016: #1. Passion for Travel -A sorta random post about my life. Complete with stickers, vegan candy and me rocking zombie eye bags. What's not to love? #2. Roswell New Mexico - 23 Pictures from the recent trip. Huge amount of blurry aliens and silly t-shirts. Feel the love of this quaint alien invasion inspired town. #3. March is Better with Wildflowers - 4 pictures, plus 1 short video of the wildflowers. This is a random as hell post. #4 Ode to February Fun -This type of post, but only the BEST of February. Check it out if you missed anything.
#5.Start the Weekend Early - Short random post talking about I'm busy, (Well duh) and promising to write more. #Lies&MoreLies Okay, that was the top 5 posts - if you click on the Roswell Post you will see links to more of the New Mexico Adventures. I think I ended up with 4 or 5 posts all together and still have more pictures and videos. The Spring Break Holiday post is silly and full of stickers and random airport pictures. 16 pictures total including a pictures from the plane looking down over Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Thankfully the weather is moving into spring and the wildflowers are blooming again and I did manage some better photos, (hopefully). I shall attempt to post them soon. Truthfully, I really haven't felt like blogging much lately. So please just humor we on these posts okay? Better stuff is coming, I shall write about my move soon. The move is something normally I would never mention, much less chronical (really) - but I think it will be helpful and interesting, plus you probably need a good laugh, too and it has been a really funny adventure. I have no idea how you found me or actually why you are here, but you are welcome to read, look around and leave a comment. :D See you at the airport~ Hello and Happy March, How are things? It's going to be a busy month here and I'm ready to go! I have another road trip planned this weekend, so look for more Texas pictures, and a work trip into the city after that. Also depending upon the weather, a camping adventure later in the month. I'm excited, because it feels like I never go ANYWHERE, ever. How to have a travel blog, if I never travel?? #FML On to more fun things~ Is it Spring yet? It feels like it here. There have been plenty of nice, comfortable days and cool night. I've been so busy lately I haven't even taken a weather screen shot. #OMG! But trust me, we have packed up the winter clothes in favor of shorts and sundresses. And with the weather change the wild flowers are beginning to appear in South Texas. I hope to have the time to take more photos and do a proper post on them soon. But until that time, please to enjoy a short, pointless video. With warmer weather, everyone seems to be having parties. And as a matter of fact, I went to a party last weekend and turned down one already this week... See you at the airport~
I have been hearing about the Organic Mill since last December. People keep asking me if I have been and what I ate there, or if I sampled any of the flours? I hadn't a chance to go in January before we left for the States, so now that we are back we went for tea and a light lunch. But first we looked around and enjoyed the flowers. The Organic Mill is located in North Cumbria, England. There were a few people coming and going during our time there, but if you visit during the week it is much less busy. Allow enough time to wander around, see the flowers, tour the mill and chase the chickens, lol. I was glad I had time to eat and explore the grounds, without rushing. I enjoyed it and will visit again soon. I think this will be a regular spot for us to bring guests.
See you at the airport- Happy Weekend~ Its another lovely, rainy day and I've been out exploring the village. Even though its cold (they would say cool) its very green and there are blooming plants everywhere! Next up we go explore another village and a larger town.
Until then- see you at the airport! Hello All~ We have now been in England two weeks and are settling in. The village life is slow paced, but not like the small village life we experienced in France. To be honest I am unpacking, buying furniture and attempting to work - so I haven't even really begun to explore yet. The people are for the most part friendly, and the area is very pretty. Here are a few highlights of the last 2 weeks: I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Take care and see you at the airport- Hey, Happy Friday! How are things? This whole week as been a blur for me. But I'm feeling better and ready for the weekend! I came home late one day this week to find all these packages piled by my door. So maybe I should add on line shopping to my list of addictions too. Actually it combining 2 of my fav things here. All these pkgs are for the upcoming trip. Yep, all travel related. Also known as my #1 addiction Travel. Most of the packages are long johns (really) because this southern white girl is not a FAN of the SNOW and I FREEZE out. I didn't photo them cause well, not that exciting. Even with new Line stickers. I ordered another Flight 001 bag, this one for Lingerie. Ooh La La :o Such a good idea. (No, I don't think the long johns will fit) But it will not be cold the entire time I'm away. Making the degree of packing even more crazy. How to pack bikinis and fur coat and have only 2 bags?? #FML I will snap pics of my packing...that should make for a hilarious post. * ______ * Moving on.... I also ordered a 6 pack of iPhone cords. Because when I'm in the back woods of Europe I want to know my phone's charged. Vanessa sent me this lovely card one day this week. I know she is missing me already! I haven't even had time to meet up with her for lunch or drinks or anything in weeks. Another addiction: My friends I really like receiving snail mail cards, too. But it's not an addiction, because I do toss them out after a few days. #NotSentimental It nice to not just have bills fall out (Ok, and pkg) of the post box. I am shopping away for cold winter items and meanwhile everything here is blooming and lush. And its warm, so very warm. Aren't this roses pretty? And more- I'm addicted to flowers too. I admit that. Oh and books. But I have been going digital so not much to see there, Do you ever look at the shelari on the side bar? I probably should update it. LOL
So that's my current addiction list: Travel. On Line Shopping, My friends, Flowers, Books oh and bananas! lol What about you? What are your addictions? Care to share? Have a great weekend and talk soon! Hello and happy Tuesday, In cleaning out my iPhone I found some random flower pictures (and video) and thought I would share them before I deleted to make room for another useless app. #ImJustSayin The video is making it very impossible to edit/upload/do anything in weebly so I think I will stop here. More flower spam at a later date.
Catch you later- :D |
