Ready, Set, Jet!

Hello my friends! I hope you are well and enjoying the change of season, no matter where you are in the world. The last week of September I tried to squeeze as much fun as possible out of my busy schedule. We have so many projects going on, but all I really wanted to do was spend time outside and soak up the sunshine. The weather is finally beginning to break and the oppressive heat is letting up (some), so I took a day trip to a nearby park and played in the light. I really needed this break and immensely enjoyed myself! Often just a few hours away can really reset your energy and outlook on life. Check out this short video of the trip below... Do you have a special place you go for an energy reset? If so let me know below.
Have a great week~ Hello Friends~ It's September and everything is changing. We packed up the car and said goodbye to the cottage on the Bay. It was a wonderful 5 weeks of resting, reading and lazing about, but now back to reality. #eek While it was mostly sunny every day for this leg of the trip, the weather began shifting because of the hurricane(s) and storms in the gulf. We drove back to central Texas with heavy rain and flooding predicted. No rain pictures because it wasn't safe. After a few more days in the hotel we started the next adventure. I will share more of it as the month goes on... but I want to thank each and everyone of you for stopping by and reading my silly little blog. I appreciate your kind words, private messages and friendship. I know this will be an AMAZING month!
Hello from Texas! How are things going? August is speeding by, or so it seems. I hope you are finding time to relax and enjoy yourself. The heat is still awful here, but we are making the best of it. I try to only go out early in the morning (hello sunrise!) or after 8:00 pm. But this isn't as bad as it sounds, this gives me free time in the day to read, nap and write. (Best vacation EVER!) As of today (August 10, 2022) I have posted four times on this blog in August! Now they haven't been Pulitzer Prize winning essays but I do deserve a B for effort, lol. I'm working on more book reviews, recipes and more videos as well. BUT I am guilty of only remembering to take photos AFTER we eat or return home. But I promise to do better, next trip. Speaking of videos, I have uploaded six new videos this month. Most are shorts, except for Part One of a Summer Roadtrip. Check it out if you are bored. A summer storm blowing in and I'm taking full advantage of it- Lighting candles, making a snack and grabbing a book. The kettle is on and all is right in the world. Where ever you are in the world, make sure you take time today to do something that feeds your soul and gives you pleasure.
This is your life, live it your way. Back to the beach...
I have my toes in the sand and you can't make me come inside! I promise a proper post soon~ Hi! How are you?
If you are bored and want a blast of travel goodness, scenery from the southwest and picture of critters, I got you. Check out my "shorts" playlist for that and more random goodness! Most clips are under 30 seconds and should shift your mood and maybe even inspire you to travel. Speak soon~ Its HOT outside... I am currently in south Texas (I came for the heat wave it would seem) and while I was riding the lift with another traveler their parting words were, "Welcome to HELL!" They weren't talking about the hotel (Its okay) the heat though was breaking records... Cooling Lemon and Herb Spritzer

How is it already November?? September and October flew by because life was so busy! We took a road trip to Roswell, New Mexico, then returned home, repacked, and took a month-long road trip to Texas. #Yeah It was great to be able to travel again! We also went apple picking, (worked of course), made a couple of videos, baked, met up with old friends, and chilled at the river and the lake. Oh! And there was also a hurricane hitting Texas while we were there and we had to nix the beach part of the trip. "More than 100,000 Texas electricity customers without power after Nicholas. Restoring it to everyone could take days." Read about it here. But all-in-all it was a nice adventure! If you missed those short posts I have listed them below. Here are my Top 4 Highlights of Autumn.
