All in all not much happened this month. I worked and worked sum more. Which is good for the travel fund, but not really exciting stuff to post about. Thank you for reading and continuing to come back. I will get back to traveling again soon. Really.
The next few months are going to be busier and then by the end of summer its going to be insane as I sail back to Spain/France and hopefully Italy. #wanderlust

Hey!
How are things? I'm excited about my upcoming trips and attempting to do the "pre-packing" sort. I get bogged down on what I WANT to take along and what I NEED to pack. #WTF?! Where does all this stuff come from and why must we travel with so MUCH? I need something to make my packing easier....

Speaking of...I just rec'd this cool Flight 101 Laundry bag today. I ordered one to try and after seeing the quality of the bag now I wish I had ordered more. (Yes, I bought it. Not sponsored.)

What do you do with your dirty clothes when you travel?

I usually have my laundry sent out when i'm on a ship and try to stay in gites with a washer other times. But it not always possible to find a place with a laundry. I always carry a bag with me, but not one that can keep the smell out. But I have wished for something that could, quite often actually. #FML A day spent hiking in the hot sun in Nevada and you can grow mushrooms on your work out clothes! #FunkyButTrue

I really liked the idea of these well made bags. Plus they are quite pretty in cool bright colors too.

They make bags for many uses.

I so need the shoes, boots and sandal bags next!

Weekend Fun

Hey Whats up?
Busy weekend here. The company from New Orleans is still visiting. :D
We had a late couple of nights + busy days shopping, eating and just catching up.
I made brunch one day before we headed out.

The roses from my garden. The bushes are blooming like mad right now. Love them!

I was out cutting them when my cat actually stood still Almost long enough for me to snap a picture. She is always on the move.

Sorry for all the boring posts as of late. I have been bogged down with work and preparing for my return to France. I have a business trip Next month and about 100 places I want to see before I head back this summer. I don't know how many we can squeeze in, but am going to attempt as many as possible. #wanderlust

i am trying to enjoy this down time, but to be honest I am bored and ready to leave. NOW.

How are things? Been so busy here. Work, Life, etc. I did mange to visit Char the other day for a bit. Its always so relaxing at her house. I love the quiet of the place. :D
Speaking of quiet...
I've been trying my damnedest to not get dragged into other peoples drama. So many couples are breaking up right now. Its so sad. :(

One of my friends told me she felt all alone, like a "bird on a wire" the other day. Then I saw this while I was pumping petrol. Poetic and sad, i guess. Break ups are never easy. #LonelyBirds

I will cheer you up from this depressing post with super sweet cupcakes.

In a fog..

Hey,
What's up?
I just returned from a run in the fog. It was a bit chilly too. But I am sticking to my exercise goals.

I have made Easter baskets and am set to spoil the nieces and nephews. #BestAuntEver lol
As you see I have taken NO pictures of anything lately. Been so busy at work I just come home and go into a trance in front of the Tv. Ok, actually I just sleep. Exciting much? :0

My plans for the Easter Weekend are sleep and catch up on some Movies. (Do I know how to party or what?)
What are you doing?

My Buddies from NOLA are arriving on the 23rd. Meaning I'm going to take off work for adventuring. LOL
(Read shopping and shopping, and maybe a little shopping.)

April Conscious Box

Hola!

The April Conscious Box has arrived and the office rejoiced! Ok, maybe not rejoiced, but they damn sure stopped working to sort the goodies. As you may remb. I ordered this monthly box for my employees, (because I love them.) It is delivered to the office and they eagerly sort the goodies each month. It's a nice treat of healthy fun that doesn't cost that much.$19.USD; check their website here and read about past boxes we haverec'd here.

We rec'd a email that they were changing up the boxes.

More "full size" items.

Admit it, you like getting something in the mail that's not a bill too, right? :D

Rec'd a good report on all the products.

And all are healthy too!

I did get to sample the Pasta chips and they were quite good.

And..

Overall Office rating? Loved it! It's nice to try new products and see whats out there. Plus full size items means that we can share and sample more. #Organic and #healthy means we will purchase, even if the price is slightly higher. Everyone I know is concerned with their health and the health of their families. The box cost $19.USD including shipping and is well worth it to me.

Country Life

Hello!
I've been MIA these last few days as life has been in over drive. Thank you for continuing to check back in. I shall attempt to do better.

Aud and I went to visit Cher at her lovely home in the country recently. We went to paint, visit and of course eat.

She lives way, way out in the country. Down a maze of dirt roads.

There are farms and ranches and nothing else out there. Its very peaceful to visit.

And getting there is 1/2 of the adventure...

Plus you never know what or who you will see.

That's an armadillo. It was just walking around looking for bugs to eat and generally didn't mind us at all. I stopped the truck in the middle of the road and got out to take those pictures with my iphone. I think armadillos are really cute. You usually only see them dead on the road. :x
We also so a ton of deer and birds, but we were late so I didn't chase them down, lol
We have to have a map to get there. As I jumped back into the truck I looked over at Aud who was reading the map and noticed it was upside down!

We laughed and laughed.
It all turned out ok, we were only a bit late and the drive was fun. #GirlsRoadTrip lol

Truth be told I actually love the cold and rain. A rainy summer in London sounds like HEAVEN to me. Esp. after spending month after month of 115' F with no rain at all in Texas. #TrueStory
