Look what happened now...
Ready, Set, Jet!
Happy Wednesday ~
I hope you are well and staying out of the Thanksgiving madness. I'm still traveling/working and I just wanted to share something really quick with you. I'm staying at a holiday house and some of the furnishings impressed me enough to look them up! I was even more impressed when I found out they were affordable! That never happened, especially now.
One of my best finds is about to be my "go to" holiday hostess/unexpected drop-in gifts of this super luxuriously and soft blanket. The picture look meh, but it is really soft and I was glad to see it washed/dried and still looks brand new. It will make a thoughtful and useful gift rather than another knick knack that no one actually wants. It's a great Amazon find right now and I'm buying as gifts especially - at this price.
I will be sharing some of the other cool stuff here in later posts and of course in videos. You do follow me on Youtube, right? If not, run over there now--I'm uploading all kinds of recipes, travel, nature and relaxing videos. Watch them here.
Also run, don't walk over and grab that blanket now before all the pretty ones sell out.

This is a very short video as I am still traveling. All the recipes can be found below:

Hey and Happy Sunday!
I've been talking about my adventures in the State Park...
BUT this one takes place in a Cemetery...watch it here:

I hope you are enjoying the changing seasons? We are spending as much time outside as possible, fitting in activities before the weather turns off cold and wet. Plus, after the terrible summer heat it feels fantastic to be outside without melting!
Last month I explored a Texas state park (watch Video here) and in late October I was excited to go back again and camp. For this trip we rented a rustic cabin inside the park. It included beds, mini fridge. microwave and water on a tap outside. It was a short walk to the bathrooms and because we went on a Wednesday we had the park almost to ourselves.

I think this was just what I needed. I've been feeling so overwhelmed with work and other projects that a nature break really reset my energy and creativity. But I returned home so inspired! I often forget how relaxing it is to be away from all our devices!
We saw so many birds, deer and other wildlife and the weather was perfect!
Unfortunately, we didn't do as much as planned, but it was so great to be in nature and get away from everything. I can't wait to go back!
See you at the airport!
How's it going?
I'm still in central Texas and while I miss New Mexico so much I will admit I am enjoying the clouds. (I am actually obsessed with them!) Central New Mexico, especially up in the high desert where I live; rarely has cloudy days, which was great at first, but after awhile I found myself missing the clouds almost as much as the trees. So while I'm in Texas I'm mesmerized by the changing sky. It draws me outside like a magnet and I'm left wishing for better photographic equipment and more free time.
I hope you are enjoying November and have a pretty view too.
Another perfect day spent in nature ~
