Ready, Set, Jet!

"When the plane you are on is late, the plane you want to transfer to is on time." ~Author Unknown. ✈✈✈ And then suddenly you see your favorite all time celebrity in the airport. (You have missed the plane anyway, so WTF?!) So forget being shy or having any good manners at all and go up to him... And he kindly poses with you for a set of pictures and they comes out like this.. BUT you won't know until you take time later to check the display. Because now you are face-to-face with Mr. Perfect Man -after a 11 hour plan flight :{ & can barely think or see. Meanwhile, your fellow- also late passenger, (who is following you & sorta creepy) Offers to snap 1 shot for you with your iphone. You & Mr Celebrity Perfection pose again, quickly. As you note a WILD look in his eyes and know he's about to bolt. But that ok, you think. You did get an insane amount of photos, 1 should at least be ok, right? :D Watching as Mr Perfection flees as fast as he can from the now insanely large group gathering around him, you hear: "Hmm he should make more action films, he really can move." Creepy guy comments and you have to agree. Realizing he is still there. :X But it's ok, you think to yourself as you go look for a nice warm place to wait for the next flight & security to get rid of Mr Creepy. You have a ton of photos and at least 1 will be a Keeper! Then you have the sudden realization: Fuck! why didnt I brush my hair before I got off the plane. I hope it looks ok in the photos.. But no worries ....... At least he got my good side. ;(
![]() Beep Beep! Time for the next list.. ![]() 03 : Fav Childhood TV Shows In No kinda order: (Cartoons, of course.) *Scooby Doo *Jettsons *Bugs Bunny -I was all about the music (I was a super Geeky kid, WTF?!) ![]() As I got older - *Simpsons *SNL (Still love it!) *Reruns of I Dream of Jeanie " " Gilligan's Island And.. ??? Duh, I'm sure the TV was on? But I really don't think I spent a lot of time watching TV. I was drawing or on the phone. (Like now, lol) Another #FAIL at this list stuff. Catch you later- This is a question I get asked a LOT. How do you find time to exercise and remain healthy while you travel? Well it's really not that hard. 1. I take my gym shoes, trainers or tennis shoes (depending on where you live is what you call them) with me when I travel. If I make room for them I'm GOING to USE THEM. lol :0 Cause I usually pack too many shoes anyway. If I'm leaving a pair of pumps @ home for these, so they WILL be USED. 2. I walk AS MUCH as POSSIBLE. when I'm away from Texas. I walk in Texas too, but I have to as exercise, cause no one walks anywhere (if they can help it) there. 3. I have a yoga program on my laptop. But I am sure you can find one on YouTube too. (And I get up early or stay up late to use it!) 4. I have a meditation app for my Ipad. It reminds me to take the time to meditate. I always feel better when I do. Every single time! So I look forward to doing this. I am calmer, more relaxed and have a better time. 5. I do Tai Chi (T'ai chi ch'uan). There are programs on line & check the city you are visiting. People usually get together in parks and new people are always welcome! *What a great way to meet people in a new city?! 6. Water. Bring your own and purchase LOTS at market. When you fly esp. your Body NEEDS more hydration. So drink up! And ![]() I try to eat Healthy, but I also allow myself to eat a Reese Peanut buttercup too. I eat desert sometimes and mostly whatever I want; I just keep it within reason. Eat more = work out more. It's Just that simple. I like to try locale food, but as a vegetarian that can be somewhat limiting. Raw is always good though. Most Markets you can always find some veggie/fruit you recognize and that makes a great picnic lunch. :D Also the bread in France is totally different than the bread in the US. Really!! So do take the time to exercise, eat right, meditate and you will have a better trip. You will feel better and that alone will make the trip better.
Gotta go walk now, Catch you Later- ![]() “When we get out of the glass bottle of our ego and when we escape like the squirrels in the cage of our personality and get into the forest again, we shall shiver with cold and fright. But things will happen to us so that we don’t know ourselves. Cool, unlying life will rush in.” – D. H. Lawrence Yes, I like that escape like the squirrels and let life rush in. :) I'm ready, are you? ![]() #02 : Jobs I Have Had This is a test. It is only a test. Had it been an actual job, you would have received raises, promotions, and other signs of appreciation Like most kids, I have worked all kind of suck ass jobs & some as an adult too. I'm easily bored, what can I say. +Sometimes was working up to 3 jobs at a time...(See I have always had that travel wanderlust and it's not cheap.) Work + save = Travel! Catch you Later- Hey All,
Was sent this from one of my Darling friends who seems to think I need to talk EVEN more about myself! I think she found the list on "meet me at mikes". I'll tell you mine, if you tell me yours. LOL (Although I found some of them boring, so be warned.) List #1 *Suburbs you have lived in. #FAIL I started out with a nice photo and all but honestly, NO. I don't remb. I usually DON'T Live in the burbs...either smack down in the middle of town or out in the sticks. (Off to a great start, aren't we?) Famous words: Next Week will be BETTER. OH LORD! Week 02 : Jobs I Have Had That will be a GREAT One. Lol, See you later- ![]() “Adventure is a path. Real adventure – self-determined, self-motivated, often risky – forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind – and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.” – Mark Jenkins |
