Ready, Set, Jet!

Hey, How are things? Can you believe April is almost over? If you follow me on Snapchat then you know I work too much and rarely get enough sleep. #TrueFact And when I'm not traveling I am pretty boring... You also know I spend way too much time at the market. #2ndTrueFact People ask me about food prices all the time and how much it varies from different locations. (More than you would think, actually.) I think food is expense here in south Texas (USA) I spend an average of about $1,000USD a month on food/household items for 3 people. I do not purchase meat, junk food or dairy. I do buy organic items whenever possible, which is, of course, more expensive. Yes, (I forgot my recycled bags. Do not judge me.) That's not a lot of stuff. It most certainly is not two carts or an overflowing trolly. IDK... That figure I mentioned above does not include the money we spend on eating out either. I'm off to sleep now...zzz zzz zzzz
I swear I packed in my sleep this week. Should make for some awesome surprises later, lol. See you at the airport! The BEST thing to do on a rainy day!
The 2nd best thing: Plan your next travel adventure. See you at the airport- Over the course of the last few weeks I have been out taking photographs of the Texas wildflowers and the 'planted flowers' too, lol. Plus I've been ever so busy over working, I've hardly had any time for sneaking off with my friends. We are planning a few cool trips and also I have 2 BIG adventures coming up! But in the meantime - please enjoy some flowers pictures. :D I also have been about shopping for bedding plants and new pots. I love spring and all the flowers! Don't you? All of these pictures were taken in Texas. Well except for the one listed below--my mate in England sent. Soon it will be too hot here for any flowers, so we are enjoying them while we can. The sky always is the most amazing color here. I'm sure the UV (feel the sizzle) plays a big part in it. Then suddenly it's cool again! We really thought the colder weather was over, but I guess not. :x And as the weather changes so does the wildlife! I have seen so many squirrels rabbits, deer and of course lizards while I've been out running. Most are gone long before I can get the phone ready to snap. Also many butterflies and hummingbirds have returned. I take their return as a sure sign Spring is here! If you follow me on Snapchat then you see mostly blurry video for deer running off, lol. Remember the pretty peach blossoms from last month? They turned into the cutest baby peaches~ And now the roses are blooming all over town, too. See you at the airport-
Lol One of my friends tagged me in this on Face Book.... Damned if it isn't my National Anthem! See you at the airport~ How are things? Busy as fuck here. Really. I'm on the road again soon and trying to get the last minute things sorted. Everything from shopping to shipping needs to be done. Have I ever travelled before? Seem like I don't know how... Before I left I made one more fruit run... I see nice cream in the future! Lol I'm very much enjoying my new Aura Borealis mug. #GeekOut Hopefully it's a sign I will be Iceland to enjoy the real thing this winter. It does not photograph well.... But you get the idea... Cool, right? Speaking on not photographing well...
See you at the airport~ So hey! I didn't have a witty title....So there you go. #FML Tuesday was a day I spent running around Texas - trying my best to finish up projects, get my hair did, and saying Goodbye to old friends. (Insert tears here) Naw, was actually fun - if you follow me on Snapchat then you saw how much fun we had. It was another lovely, dark and rainy day. Not typical Texas weather, but I will take it! I actually love this kind of weather. It was cool, not cold and a great day to be doing last minute stuff - most people don't drive in the rain, so I had the highway almost to myself. #Truestory There was a storm coming too. So the clouds were amazing! Then off to get my hair done.... And back home before the floods started. (For real) :o
Typical Tuesday in Texas, lol. *Warning* After I get this next trip outta the way I will be flooding the blog with pictures. See you at the airport~ Hello and welcome new people ~ Every month I list the top clicked posts, they are not usually the best stories, but for some unknown reason they are the most visited. Excited yet? lol March was an odd month for me, I travelled a bit, but also put my head down and worked. There are so many new projects at the office, plus I'm in the process of moving house, which is a HUGE ordeal and there was family drama as well. But all that aside, here is the list for March 2016: #1. Passion for Travel -A sorta random post about my life. Complete with stickers, vegan candy and me rocking zombie eye bags. What's not to love? #2. Roswell New Mexico - 23 Pictures from the recent trip. Huge amount of blurry aliens and silly t-shirts. Feel the love of this quaint alien invasion inspired town. #3. March is Better with Wildflowers - 4 pictures, plus 1 short video of the wildflowers. This is a random as hell post. #4 Ode to February Fun -This type of post, but only the BEST of February. Check it out if you missed anything.
#5.Start the Weekend Early - Short random post talking about I'm busy, (Well duh) and promising to write more. #Lies&MoreLies Okay, that was the top 5 posts - if you click on the Roswell Post you will see links to more of the New Mexico Adventures. I think I ended up with 4 or 5 posts all together and still have more pictures and videos. The Spring Break Holiday post is silly and full of stickers and random airport pictures. 16 pictures total including a pictures from the plane looking down over Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Thankfully the weather is moving into spring and the wildflowers are blooming again and I did manage some better photos, (hopefully). I shall attempt to post them soon. Truthfully, I really haven't felt like blogging much lately. So please just humor we on these posts okay? Better stuff is coming, I shall write about my move soon. The move is something normally I would never mention, much less chronical (really) - but I think it will be helpful and interesting, plus you probably need a good laugh, too and it has been a really funny adventure. I have no idea how you found me or actually why you are here, but you are welcome to read, look around and leave a comment. :D See you at the airport~ Happy April's Fool Day!
I hope you are having a fun spring and out having great adventures. I certainaly am! LOL I promise to update more often and write a bit more. (BUT NOT TODAY! LOL) Happy April ~ |
