Which I went directly to the office & gave away. "Thanks, but no thanks" I am working too hard now.  Which they took in a matter of seconds, WTF?  The tub was cute too! He brought me a rose, wasn't that sweet? Hello, How are things? Hope you are having a good week. Busy here. :) This post was a date I went on last Saturday night. We drove over to Gruene which is in new Braunfels, Texas.  We ate at the Gruene River Grill. But look at the sky on the drive there! OMG!  AND Cows because someone ask me if there were cows in MY part of Texas. Sorry I don't think to take photos of them. Anyway look at the Awesome Sunset. For once I wasn't driving and could take photos!  Loving the awesome sunsets!  And Another, taken while he is driving 70 mph down the road with iphone!  The landmark water tower, lol   It was really dark when we arrived, but its a big 2-3 story place overlooking the river. There was a wait except for on upper deck, which we took. Walking through the place was packed with people & staff was in Halloween costumes. Everyone seemed to be in a party mood. :)  Outside is really pretty too.  Menu Which I didn't even bother to look at before we went in. WTF?! I wasn't THAT hungry and figured I could get SOMETHING to eat. Well, umm there wasn't much. The menu was very, very meat heavy. I order the salad below and had to ask them cut the bacon. #F(*K   His chicken or something salad. Sorry its so dark, I edited & edited, but it was really dark on the deck. The weather was great and it was packed too, but DARK. * ___ *  Since we ate salad I wanted cheesecake, lol  It was good, but not great. It was billed as NYC Style and it was not. Too moist.  But I did mange to EAT IT ALL. lol  View off the deck...the river is down there. Trust me.   Entrance/Exit When we left no one was waiting but it was after 10:00 pm. There was a LOT going on outside. We walked around and listen to 3-4 bands playing outside on club patios.   Walking around Gruene at night is safe, it's just mostly dark. Meaning there were no really good picts. #Fail  This is the reason most people go..and the music too.  I think this is a holiday cottage.  B & B  Another backyard patio for a club.  Deer on the road. So that was about it. We rode around some and then went back to my house. Exciting much? Are you ready for Halloween? I have been invited to a couple of parties, but ended up having to work. Hey, How are you? Hope you had a restful weekend. The holidays are here, my friends. *sigh* Which means we all will be super busy from here on till the end of the year. OMG! With that in mind we took advantage of the little bit of down time I had this weekend and just chilled, mostly. Ended up going to buy pumpkins (see below and post here) & dinner/dancing too. :D So started Saturday morning off right with...  Yippe! Tacos! I ran in the early a.m. & then worked on a few on line projects. The weather was so nice, I really wanted to be outside.  I took this with my iphone, I thought the plant was dead. (No Filter or edit on this.) SUPER BRIGHT & healthy. WTF?!  So a fun morning was spent shopping & booking holiday travel on line! #HardWorking I am sooo excited about the upcoming trips! Can't wait until I can talk about them!  There are so many places I want to go... But in the meantime I will take short trips and be happy with that. Speaking of short trips... We went to the Pumpkin Patch (Read about it HERE.) It was fun, but arrived too late to purchase a pumpkin. Must make do with Line, lol.   Fun with the Free Halloween Line Camera Stickers. And went to Gruene for a nice dinner and to listen to some live music. Will do a post about it shorty..  Water Tower is a Gruene landmark.  This was really good! And made a quick trip to the market for a little food shopping.  This was pulled up in front. I have seen too many movies, I was waiting for something to happen, lol  I took this pict to send to Rick, as in which one he wanted...no reply so  I bought this for me, lol And thats about it. I have 2 flights I MUST book by Tuesday and a project that is due Oct 20. (Yes, I typed that correct!) Glad I was able to rest the weekend because this week is going to be madness.
See you at the airport!  Hello from the Pumpkin Patch..  Got your pumpkin yet?  This Pumpkin Patch is located on the front yard of this church & as you can see by the sign closes at dark. We arrived at dark 30. #Fail All the people were gone, so we couldn't buy any pumpkins, but we did roam around and play in the pumpkins. It got dark really fast, as you will see in the pictures & Yes, I spent .99 on the Line camera Halloween stuff & I'm gonna use the HELL outta it, lol   Sunset and then it started looking spooky. :o    So are you ready for Halloween? As you can see it a BIG deal in the US & in Texas.  Big & almost perfect pumpkin.  Small & cute! :D  I think they sold quite a few pumpkins, because this was FULL just the other day.  :0 Tiny!     Church got spooky look at night too..  Arty Orb of the pumpkin patch.    House across the street from the church.    Didn't buy a pumpkin, but had a nice time playing in the patch. Lol

I don't really consider myself all that "daring" but some people seem to think so.
I was talking to a friend about parasailing and he seemed surprised that I would do that. Don't girls parasail? I used to be afraid of a lot of things, but I pushed through them because I wanted what was on the other side. Now I am so glad I did. The world really is one big adventure. :D See you at the airport!   How are you? I've been better, thanks for asking. :( The day started out ok, work, meetings, etc. Arranged to be off by noon today. Yippe! It was closer to 1:30 but thats still good. Rick was due in later that night, but it was changed at the last second, so Saturday. Ok, I can deal with that. So now suddenly being foot-loose & fancy free, I rang up an old friend and we met for Pizza & a catch-up. We pigged out & visited. (I admit it) I have been working really hard this week. You may have noticed I posted very little on twitter/instagram. I have had no time to even return phone calls. :( So as you can imagine I was most excited about time off. These happy cloud pictures were taken on the way to the Pizza place. :D I was stopped at a red light, iphone out the window, random moment. I liked the contrast -no edit- light and darkness.  But Later that evening...  WTF?!?! So I ended up calling someone to help me... and these are picts of me sitting and waiting. Exciting, huh?  I was about to go to Austin, too. Bummer.  The clouds don't look as happy now.  This wasn't edited at all. Wicked, right? Shortly tire was aired up and I went back home..I shall take it to the station tomm. for repair or replacing. WTF? Brand new tire too.
The rest of the non- eventful evening went like this: Took a long, hot bath and climbed into bed with a book. I know, I'm SUPER Exciting, right? But I am thankful I didn't have a flat on the expressway (again) or end up stranded in the middle of the night on the side of road somewhere. So it all worked out and I really needed the sleep. This weekend is going to be busy & I doubt I will have time to watch the clouds. Catch you later-  9:00 Hey, How goes it? It was a little cooler this a.m. when I was walking. (The above picture). But it felt really good to just be outside. Yeah Fall! I just love it! :D I forgot to post the pictures from this weeks Girls Movie Night. It was last Monday, but I did even worse than normal with remembering to take photos. :( #FAil But I do have an excuse...I thought 2 of the ladies were going to *throw down right in front of the food table. (*Thats Texas slang for fight.) IDK this is really starting to get outta hand and more and more people are coming over to watch movies and visit. WTF?? I don't know why people can't get along?? Below is one of the few pictures I took of the food table. It was quite early on before people arrived and it OVER FLOWED with healthy food.  Girls Movie Night food  Healthy Fruits and..  There. Do you see it? She brought Cake AGAIN. It was THAT lady (read about another girls movie night) who once agin brought a cake. It was her and another lady that I thought were going to fight. (And not over that dumb ass cake.) I ended up being rude to both of them before it was over & you know how BAD I hate that. But we really don't need that shit. Be nice & get along or stay at home. It is my house after all... Anyway, I did remember to pass out the honey I bought the day before at the Farmer's Market. Everyone seemed to like it.  Fresh honey. After everyone arrived things settled down and we had a really nice time. It was around 3:30 am before the ladies left, so I was very tired Tuesday. Meaning I have no pictures of anything, sorry. #FML
Rick just called me so I guess he is flying in this weekend...So watch Instagram for more blurry pictures of this weekends adventures, LOL. See ya! Hey, How is it going? Been a really busy week, hasn't it? I am working on a few fun projects as well as work stuff. Which is sorta fun right now, too BTW. I still haven't booked anything for my Nov trip and now am working on Dec's BIG Event. I can't post much as she may read this...lol So it has to be on the hush-hush for a bit longer. But OMG I will have a good bit of travel, dinning and parties to blog about soon, lol. So bare with my boring day to day crap, ok?
