4th of July Fun

Hello and Happy late 4th of July!
We are still celebrating,  see here everyone hoards up all the fireworks and shoots them off all week long, so the holiday just goes on and on...
It was a pretty good day, hot but good. Then the rains blew in off the coast.

What 'Mercains do for the 4th...

According to MSNBC most American's spend the 4th outside, doing SOMETHING...

Maybe trying to not get wet? IDK


I was invited to a couple of BBQ's and a party at the lake.

The lake party sounded the best, as fireworks over the water are the coolest. 

Luckily the rains didn't last too long..

I ate before I left...

and gathered my sparklers, lol

The air was super hot and humid from the afternoon showers. Yuck-- just sticky, but the fireworks were good and I had a lot of fun. They had a live band and lots of food & drinks. 

I got in really late..

And did like like sleepy Vampire Loki and slept most of the next day.

Not Sure why I was so hungover-- as I don't drink. I guess I am just done in from work.  But the party was pretty fun or I would not have stayed so late.

The next morning was all about COFFEE and more coffee. After I could stand up & feel my legs again (I may have danced too much last night) I realized I NEEDED breakfast tacos NOW. So not wanting to wait the whole 15 mins for a delivery I drove over to the Taco Hut. Along with the rest of the world it would seem.

So instead of a boring taco picture, here one of me waiting at the drive up window. For over 1/2 an hour!

So that was my 4th and most of my 5th. Hope you had a nice weekend. I'm going back to bed now till the sun is down good and proper.
