And then the truck wouldn't start

Hiya!
How are things? It's cold here & seeming a lot like Christmas. Yeah!
 Last week (was it just last week?! WTF?) We took a few days off and did a "staycation" in the Texas Hill  Country. It's only about an hours drive away, but was a pleasant change. Unfortunately we encountered truck problems.

Hood up, Face down ;(

I found a jump and we were able to make it home without further Incident. But it pretty much ruined what was left of the trip for me. I hate the thought of being stranded on the side of the road somewhere. :(  So we made it home quickly with no other stops. I really wanted to do a bit more shopping. FML So on the bright side this probably saved me major $$$ lol.

After returning home I found the problem was the battery (which I just replaced less than a year ago!) and now am back on the road. Safe & sound. Thanks to all that ask me about it after my tweets.  :)   I'm fine.

Its been a long weekend and now I have people coming over for tea. I do love the holidays and seeing old friends.  Seems like we really try and make the time to see each other more during the winter. Speaking of making the time, I have decided to go a New Years Eve party my buddy is hosting this year. It maybe awhile before we are all together again. Funny how life rearranges everyone isn't it? 

Meanwhile I'm packing for the next adventure. So must hide the mess, lol.
