In Search of a Bridge

Hey, 
As the title says we went looking for a bridge. Actually I have been looking on & off for a few months for this bridge.  It was right around the corner from where we always go, supposedly. But just where? After  searching on line we did manage to find it!

This is a picture heavy post with very few words.

I heard about the bridge on #4Square. But couldn't find it via their map. It kept taking us in circles!

Meanwhile back to the bridge in Texas, lol

The wood was in excellent repair.

It felt very safe to walk on.

As I searched on line for directions, I noted other people had trouble finding it too. So I didn't feel quite so bad, lol

Later found out it is listed as #10 of the
 "TOP 10 THINGS TO DO IN NEW BRAUNFELS"

Rail Road Bridge is still in use.

It was very calm & relaxing sitting here.

The benches are a nice touch and don't stick out too much for the people cruising by on bikes.

Meanwhile across the Bridge & on the other side -

Looks like a Historic District is in the works.

There are trails under the bridge on both sides of the river. People were fishing & having fun. Did you notice in the other pictures?
