Travel Time

How are things?  Did you remb that Wednesday is a great day to book your travel plans? Lots of GREAT SALES are flooding my inbox today. If you aren't getting those email then just do a search & be ready to jump on the deals...they will start going up & be gone soon.  :X

People often ask me how far in advance I book. It depends. I have a trip booked now more than 6 months out (#SuperHardWorkingTraveler) and I have a trip pending in less than a month I haven't booked yet. #FML :(

If your schedule is flex then no worries, but if it is FIXED dates then start 2-3 months out. If its overseas or during holiday weeks/weekends start  FURTHER ahead. 

And a word on cruising:
Cruise ships give you the ability to pay a little at a time. But usually 45 days before your trip the total is due in full. BUT on the other hand unsold cabins go for a song after that window closes, IF you can wait and have the full amount ready. 
 I once snagged a 15 day transatlantic crossing (1 way) for under $400.USD !!  So get to work planning your next trip! It's a BIG world out there.
