I am and I blame it on autumn.
For me autumn is a season associated with comfort and coziness. It's the time for warm sweaters, cozy blankets, and gathering around the fireplace. I want to watch my favourite old movies and drink hot coco and snack. Popcorn fits perfectly into this scenario as a light, easy-to-make, and warm snack. It also adds to the overall feeling of comfort and home. Its crunchiness and warm buttery aroma make it an ideal treat during those chilly evenings or any time.
Carmel popcorn seems to be an even better treat. But OMG the amount of sugar is so dang awful. But what if we could cut the refined sugar and take it up a notch and turn it into a vegan treat? Plus add maple AND cinnamon for a super cozy Autumn vibe?
Are you ready to try this amazing popcorn??
Vegan Maple Cinnamon Popcorn:
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
1. Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method (air popper or stovetop).
2. In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil and maple syrup over low heat.
3. Stir in the cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
4. Drizzle the maple-cinnamon mixture over the popped popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
This vegan snack recipe are perfect for satisfying your cravings during the autumn season. Enjoy these tasty treats without refined sugar!
